When a sculptor from an unknown realm is given consciousness, he is called upon by the sounds of a ticking Grandfather Clock to create life.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY – ANGEL E. VERA
Angel E. Vera is an Award-winning Cinematographer, Director, and Filmmaker. Born in Cusco, Peru, Angel initially earned a degree in General Dentistry but had always been attracted by the art of photography and filmmaking so switched professions to focus on content creation for documentary films and aerial content. In 2010, Angel relocated to Los Angeles, California and was motivated further by the film industry. His passion for aerial content was rewarded when he was recognized as one of the top three cinematographers in the Drone category at the 2018 Los Angeles Film Festival. He’s since continued to hone his craft in the creation of cinematic content and visual storytelling by directing an array of projects. In 2018 he directed the international film entitled HONG KONG, My City My Home. In 2019, he was the cinematographer for the film Lovers in a Dangerous Time. And in 2022, for the film Aamal, which won for Best Film at the Vision Film Festival in Europe. By the end of 2022, the International blue-chip artist Sir Daniel Winn unveiled his first art film, Creation as part of the 2022 Asian World Film Festival. Creation was screened on Nov.17th at the Directors Guild of America Theater Complex in West Hollywood, California, where Angel E. Vera directed, and edited such a wonderful piece of art, in collaboration with veraONEproductions.
The film was inspired by two Sculptures created by Sir Daniel Winn (@SirDanielWinn) of Winn Slavin Fine Art in Beverly Hills (www.winnslavin.com). A feature adaptation is in the works based on the short film.
